Terms and Conditions
The rules for using this site and what you are agreeing to when you sign up. Short, and worth the two minutes.
Who runs this site
ariana4fresno.com is published by Martinez Lott for City Council 2026 (FPPC #1479179), the committee supporting Ariana Martínez Lott’s candidacy for Fresno City Council District 7. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
What this site is
This is campaign material. It sets out a candidate’s positions and asks for your support. It is not legal, financial or voting advice, and it is not an official publication of the City of Fresno or of any government body. For official election information — registering to vote, deadlines, polling places — go to the Fresno County Clerk and Registrar of Voters.
Using the site
Please do not:
- Try to gain access to any part of the site, its server or its database that is not open to the public.
- Interfere with the site or attempt to disrupt it for other people.
- Use automated tools to harvest names, email addresses or phone numbers from the site.
- Submit somebody else’s contact details, or details you know to be false.
- Use the site to send unlawful, abusive or deliberately misleading content.
- Impersonate Ariana, the campaign, or anyone connected with it.
What you submit
When you fill in the Get Involved form you are confirming that the details are accurate and are yours to give. Signing somebody else up is not a harmless prank — it exposes them to calls and messages they never asked for, and it is the fastest way to get a campaign in trouble.
What happens to your details afterwards is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to measure how its pages are used, which involves cookies being set in your browser. It is not linked to any advertising product and is not used to target adverts at you. By continuing to use the site you accept this; if you would rather not be counted, the Privacy Policy explains how to opt out, and nothing about the site stops working if you do.
Text messages
By giving us your cell phone number you consent to receive calls and text messages from Martinez Lott for City Council 2026, including pre-recorded messages and messages sent using automated systems. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any message to stop them, or HELP for help. Consenting to texts is never a condition of supporting the campaign.
Endorsements and supporter listings
Ticking “endorsing Ariana” or “being listed as a public supporter” gives the campaign permission to publish your name as a supporter, including on this website and in campaign materials. We will not publish your contact details. Tell us you have changed your mind and we will remove your name within a reasonable time.
Donations
No donation is processed on this site. The donate links take you to Anedot, which handles the payment under its own terms and privacy policy. Contribution limits, eligibility rules and public disclosure requirements are set by California law and by the City of Fresno, and they apply to any contribution you make.
Our content
The text, photographs, logo and design on this site belong to the campaign or are used with permission. You are welcome to quote from it, link to it and share it in the course of ordinary political discussion, comment and news reporting — that is what it is for.
You may not use the campaign’s name, logo or photographs in a way that suggests Ariana or the campaign endorses you, your organisation or your position when that is not the case, and you may not use them on merchandise or fundraising of your own.
Links to other sites
This site links out to places we do not control, including Anedot, Facebook and Instagram. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or their conduct. The same goes for Google, whose analytics service the site uses.
No warranty, and limits on liability
The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise that it will always be online, error-free, or up to date at every moment. To the fullest extent the law allows, the campaign is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from being unable to use it.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version always lives on this page, with the date it was last changed at the top.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts serving Fresno County, California.
